About Daedalus Air

We build fast, safe, over‑water drone logistics for marine communities. Our MVP focuses on food and small‑parcel deliveries to moorings and anchorages, starting in the Florida Keys and Coconut Grove.

What we do

Short, predictable hops from shore to boat. No landings. We hover 30–40 ft and winch or safely release to a clear deck zone, then provide photo proof. Customers place orders via our site and complete checkout in WhatsApp or iMessage.

Where we operate

Coconut Grove — Dinner Key Mooring Field; Marathon — Boot Key Harbor; Key West — Garrison Bight. Operations expand as we add partner pads and local approvals.

Safety & compliance

Part 107 pilots. Visual line of sight. Under 400 ft AGL. Over water corridors only. No flight over people or vehicles. Conservative wind and precipitation limits. We reserve the right to cancel or delay for safety and refund the delivery fee.

How the MVP works

Partner menus: curated restaurant items per harbor with current public pricing.
Store runs: grocery, convenience, and bait shop requests are billed at receipt plus delivery fee.
Checkout and comms: Orders funnel to WhatsApp or iMessage at +17034899762. We confirm availability, ETA, and payment link.
On‑deck delivery: two minutes out we ask for DECK CLEAR. We drop to a towel in your chosen zone.

What’s next

We’ll add more partner restaurants, refine flight corridors, and iterate on hardware for higher wind margins and payloads. When appropriate approvals are in place, we may add additional near‑shore use cases, but today we are focused on food and essentials to moored boats.
